I am wondering how you feel about using this blog.
Is it an effective way to communicate with each other?
Is it useful to you as a student?
Doe you feel that it effectively replaces a text book?
Is there anything we could do to make it more useful?
Any other feedback about the blog is more than welcome.

1.) Yes. We communicate with each other by sharing how we feel about what is on here (questions).
ReplyDelete2.) Yes. Everything we learn in class is here. For sample, someone could be away and missed a day of school or something then they could just take a look at this blog and read notes or something. It's similar to textbooks but easier.
3.) Yes. Like I said, it's easier to understand and it's a way for us to pay attention to.
4.) To have pictures on this blog would be nice for us to understand more of the 'big picture'.
5.) Add definitions beside the vocabulary words (just in case), and maybe give us a heads up on what we're doing the next day or what our assignments are.
1) I think it is an effective way for us to communicate because we can express our thoughts & compare with others.
ReplyDelete2)It's a lot easier using this blog because it's much more organized unlike a textbook, where there's information EVERYWHERE and sometimes it's hard to look for information.
3) Pretty much, yes. But it feels like there should be more information just incase we miss out on little details that are in the textbook but not on the blog.
4)I think it would be easier if there were definition to the vocab .. It's kind of a hassle to search up all the words & having to forget them the next day. It would probably be more convenient if we could just go on to the blog and study the vocab right off it.
1.) it is an easy way to let us all communicate and view our different thoughts and opinions. Also, for somebody who was away for a day it is easy to catch up. Plus, if someone is having trouble understanding a concept they could view other comments and gain inspiration for their own ideas.
ReplyDelete2.) yes because our whole lesson for the day is right there. We have all our information planned out so it is easy to access.
3.) this is a great replacement for a blog since there are links to many different websites. We get more than one opinion so there is no bias holding us back. Plus it it weightless unlike a real textbook.
4.) like people are saying, we should have a few definitions for vocab, or at least a link showing us where the definitions are in our notes. Also maybe the links could be organized better so that we know which ones are to be used for homework and which ones are just useful for the unit or just about life in general.
1.) The blog is really helpful. It helps us communicate with you and other students. It also helps us by letting us view everyone’s thoughts and then get ideas from them to write our own responses.
ReplyDelete2.) Yes it is useful for me as a student because it shows the whole days or weeks notes and assignments to look back on. It also gives extra information on the unit to look at for reference and better explanation.
3.) This blog effectively replaces a text book because it doesn’t give bias information. It gives reference to many sites that share important information.
4.) To improve the blog you can give us definitions to the vocabulary and also main points on the unit that are mostly important to remember.

3)It's not sure for me.. Blog can make everything more effective; however, it's eventually not as convenient as book because we can't use the computer in the whole day. Also a textbook may make us take notes much more convenient.
4)To show the title instead of the whole article is better i think. it can make us find what we need more quickly.

Yes, it is more effective to use the blog than the textbook because it takes too long to find information in the textbook and it's easier to use the blog with different links that you've posted.
To make it more useful, it would help
if you have the homework on the blog before you told us. If you put the marks on the blog.
It's an effective way to communicate with each other it's easier for students to communicate on the computor because we use the computor more. We use the computor everyday.

I like it when I can remember to check it, I am not organized enough to hardly ever go on it though. But it is very usefull and effective when I do check it. The thing I dont like about it is that I would rater just get assingments given to me in class then it seems more like I need to do it and I am less likely to forget.

4the bad thing is if all student dont take notes and just read them at home its gona be bad for the provintial exams
1) Yes, I think it is an effective way because when we have questions you usually get back to us pretty quick and if we don't understand something we may be able to find it from someone else.

4) If you could post a link to the definitions, and put dates with the links on the left so we know what post they go with. Other than that very effective teaching method :)
the blog is a good way to comunicate with use because any time we can check what is happening and what we missed.i see the blog as a text book that i never get around to looking at i would like if you reminded use more in class about things we have to do on the blog so i dont always forget and end up not doing it.it would be alot more useful if you went over were we have to go to find the assignment we have to do so were not looking all over the place trying to find it.

I feel good about using your blog. I think it is effective way of communicating with each other, it is useful to hand in homework, find that any work that you've missed it is useful because it has useful links. It does replace the text book because its not written by just one person and its less boring.
